Questions we get asked

Before you call

  • We install throughout the Western Cape from our warehouse in Capricorn Park, Muizenberg. Winelands, Overberg and West Coast jobs are programmed in blocks so the trip is worth your while.

  • A shower or splashback is normally in within 7 to 10 working days; balustrading and partitions usually 10 to 15. Curved, laminated and floor build-ups take longer because the detail has to be approved first.

  • Most can. We check what is behind the finish — slab depth, waterproofing, stringer thickness and anchor edge distance — before committing. If the substrate cannot take the load we detail a side fix or base shoe instead.

  • Toughened glass breaks into small blunt fragments rather than shards, and balustrades over a drop are specified laminated so the pane keeps standing in total failure. Pool applications follow the enclosure height requirement with no climbable horizontals.

  • Warm water, a squeegee and a soft cloth — no abrasive pads and no acid-based cleaners on stainless. Annually we check anchor torque, seal lines and silicon joints; hotels and body corporates can put that on contract.
